Eydophi

Eydophi was formed early 2021 out necessity to finally play music that resonates the most: Doom Metal. The debut single “I Am The Drug” is an epic 8,5min song including orchestra, choir and of course massive heavy guitars. Lyrics of the song are a cry for help for a slowly dying entity; a parent, friend or greener pastures in general.

Eydophi&#39;s music draws influence from the greats of doom metal, such as <a href="spotify:artist:0ulKlNlo0iPx5ZS6VMTHWQ" data-name="Swallow The Sun">Swallow The Sun</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1TX9g1uSl0B0DQIE9lBqmU" data-name="Draconian">Draconian</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1hiIe6hmDchjc246cpoAOM" data-name="YOB">YOB</a>, but influences outside the genre are also strongly present. Influences from e.g. <a href="spotify:artist:2NPduAUeLVsfIauhRwuft1" data-name="Nightwish">Nightwish</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6ZK2nrW8aCTg8Bid7I7N10" data-name="Chelsea Wolfe">Chelsea Wolfe</a> can easily be found especially from the orchestral-, atmosphere- and vocal-arrangements.

Eydophi is currently in the midst of writing and demoing the debut album. Recordings for the album are planned to start during the summer 2023.
