EYLIA is an artist, singer, songwriter and performer based in Paris.
Growing up into an artistic household, she draws her influences in Soul music, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Electronic music. Her Italian and North-African roots lead her to discover world music and the beauty of its melodies.
In her lyrics, EYLIA often depicts sacred and intense love stories, revealing herself as a mysteriously romantic and powerful character. The notion of aesthetics and beauty also holds a special place among her inspirations: Cinema, Architecture or pictorial Arts constantly feed her with images, colors and sceneries, inspiring her to create different atmospheres.
Her first collaborations with producer and musician <a href="spotify:artist:0HnuGhLNuPuEE7OZu7Nld0" data-name="Lou Berry">Lou Berry</a>, especially their track “<a href="spotify:album:0WOa60QN1RlWW5YX6iEpK9" data-name="Blue Sky">Blue Sky</a>” which enjoys an immediate success, lead EYLIA to her first stage experiences in Paris (Le Carmen, Le Petit Bain, La Machine Du Moulin Rouge), but also overseas with Black Sea Jazz Festival in 2017 as headliners.
In 2018, she meets with rising producer <a href="spotify:artist:3IMSh6UlcrbKXwG1lARp5j" data-name="Majeur Mineur">Majeur Mineur</a> and releases her debut EP “<a href="spotify:album:2t4fkFVbA1KBchdzH1hcNo" data-name="The Missing Scent">The Missing Scent</a>”. Together, they create a dreamy and hybrid mood, at the crossroads of their respective influences, between nu-soul and electronic music. Their project knows great playlisting and online media coverage, which will lead EYLIA to open for french rapper Lord Esperanza at La Cigale the same year.
