Founded by Damien Raine in 2025, Face Scraper is a stoner/doom/sludge metal band from Alberta, Canada. With heavy influence from other modern day bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:6G3jrV0iXOMIc3OM4zKIfF" data-name="Phantom Droid">Phantom Droid</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Yy3XvKls9yjdnRQAhcrK5" data-name="Sorcia">Sorcia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6aj2M1K88jq1d3Y4tU4w17" data-name="Iodyne">Iodyne</a>, and bands of many other genres. Damien takes charge of all writing, composition, and production, creating heavy, body melting and face scraping pieces.
Face Scraper blends the grunge scene/mood with the sound and attitude of stoner, doom and sludge metal, throwing this mixture in with strong, meaningful and powerful lyrical themes of Indigenous pride, depression, and love.
