F.A.F.O. is a New York City-based death metal band, (although formed by people of different states and even countries) delivering relentless brutality with crushing riffs, diverse vocal range, and relentless blast beats topped with unpredictable out-of-line intermissions. With lyrics infused with raw emotions, cymbals, thickening the atmosphere, and strings, transmitting the vibes, FA.F.O. channels the darkness of the human mind, slamming the stunning truth upon you.
F.A.F.O. emerged from the underground of New York channeling raw aggression and despair into uncompromising death metal. Blending the old-school ferocity of Morbid Angel, power of Superjoint Ritual, with the twisted modern darkness of Ulcerate and Cattle Decapitation, the band’s sound is defined by dissonant riffs, unrelenting blastbeats, and guttural vocals carved straight from the abyss.
Lyrically the band explores themes of decay, psychological collapse, and human ruin, the reflections of a world rotting within its own madness.
Their debut EP "The Beast They Fed" is a declaration of intent: filthy, oppressive, and alive with rage. Recorded independently and forged in sweat and distortion, it is a tribute to real death metal in its purest form.
