Falling Angels are a Gothic Metal band that started in Santiago de Chile in 2004. The remaining founding members are Marcelo Suárez, drums (Ciudad Zombie, Falsa Ilusión, Horror Cabaret) and Mauricio Suárez, guitar/vocals (Suffering Dusks), and the last recording line up was completed by Hugo Godoy, guitar (Heltred) and long time members Any Marambio, keyboards/vocals (Australis) and Cristian Contreras, bass.

Falling Angels deal in pain, melancholy, rebellion, desolation, redemption through beauty, and the human condition. Their musical influences range from Tiamat, Moonspell, Paradise Lost, Sentenced or To/Die/For to Fields of the Nephilim and The Sisters of Mercy.

Falling Angels, through time, were bestowed the honour of being recognised by Instituto Profesional Santo Tomás as Best Revelation Band (2005), by Darken Fanzine as Prominent Band (2006), by Electroschock Band Contest as Prominent Band with Distinction (2008-2009), and in the year 2014 they were kindly mentioned on the book Manto Negro (by César Mancilla), which documents the national history of the Chilean dark/gothic scene. In 2011, the German referents of Gothic Metal Lacrimas Profundere, shared the stage with Falling Angels, setting a milestone in the history of the band.

The discography of Falling Angels consists of the EPs Annunciation (2006), Nativity (2007), Worship (2009), The Way of Suffering (2010) and the albums Death Upon The Sun (2013) and Star of Dawn (2022).
