Weeping Silence

Weeping Silence is a Melodic Metal band (with Prog and Death Metal influences) from Malta (est 1998). Since its inception the band has played in numerous festivals and has supported bands such as Orphaned Land, Septic Flesh, Therion and Lacuna Coil. ‘Isles of Lore’, Weeping Silence’s fifth and latest album, is testament to the band’s more conceptual and stylistically-eclectic approach to songwriting. Drawing inspiration from Maltese folklore characters, Weeping Silence have been working on a body of work that ranges from more-conventional, Melodic Metal to immersive Prog Metal journeys.

‘Isles of Lore’ is Weeping Silence’s fifth album release and is inspired by the timeless allure of Maltese folklore characters, creatures and legends. This album features a guest performance by Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land) and exemplifies the current stage in Weeping Silence’s stylistic evolution - that can be best described as Melodic Metal with influences from Progressive and Death Metal.
