Alan Faull and Nielen Marais formed the duo Falling Mirror in the early 1980s. Producer Terence McCullagh brought them into his studio and fleshed out the songs into a pop rock format. Alan was a highly respected rock guitarist while Nielen is the vocalist and lyricist, writing off the wall text for the songs. They have several albums to their name. The drummer, Patrick Humphreys joined the duo later. Pat is also a talented graphic artist and was responsible for some of the strong sleeve visual images used on the albums.
