Farah Alvin is a powerhouse Broadway belter who has appeared in the Broadway casts of It Shoulda Been You, Grease!, Saturday Night Fever, The Look of Love: The Music of Burt Bacharach and Hal David, the Tony Award winning revival of Nine, and Madison Square Garden’s A Christmas Carol. Farah is well known for her appearances in the Off Broadway productions of The Marvelous Wonderettes for which she received a 2009 Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical, The Last Smoker In America, I Love You Because and others. A favorite of musical theater composers, Farah can heard on the albums of many new works by contemporary composers and lyricists.
Farah is an award winning concert performer and has appeared in concert venues all over the world. Her acclaimed solo shows On Vinyl and B-side celebrates the music of the 1970's and has received rave reviews and played to sold out houses in New York City. Farah Alvin's first studio album of original music, Someday was released in 2003 and is available for streaming. Her upcoming 2nd studio album On Vinyl will be released in the fall of 2022.
