Faster on Fire is a reflective and potent pop-rock duo from the east coast USA. Jon and Alex have come a long way from their roots in pop-punk, landing in a place of emotional vulnerability and realness while maintaining the energy they’ve always incorporated into their wildly addictive melodies, riffs, and beats. Both highly versatile musicians, their approach to writing remains fluid, each bringing lyrical and musical ideas to flesh out and explore. It’s this approach that creates the heart and depth that’s apparent in every track. Their most recent releases (Put Me Back Together, Bloom Bright, and If You Lived Here I'd Be Home) brought in new influence from producer Chris Piquette of No Boundaries Studios, whose industry experience and unmatched ear provide a layer of shimmer to pure, rough ideas and result in tracks that stick with you long after you’ve heard them for the first time. Their latest release, The Basics, is an example of the boys’ fluidity; it’s the first track with lyrics mostly coming from Alex, coupled with a layered guitar riff that pulls influence from bands like The Menzingers, Jimmy Eat World, or Modern Baseball. They plan to tour in the summer of ’22 and will be releasing several singles and a compilation throughout the year.
