Born in Buffalo, NY, Wright has been honing his craft since the turn of the Century. Moving to Northern California in 2009, Wright has continued his prolific D.I.Y style, using complex beats to mirror his unusual lyrics and rhyme schemes. In 2016, Collin and friend TJ Becker created a live hip hop band named Melting Elk that focused primarily on the incorporation of live instruments and the melding of genres. From there Wright would develop his on stage abilities by opening for acts such as MURS, Zion I, Sahtyre, & Hieroglyphics and playing over 60 shows in Northern California and Nevada. During the pandemic of 2020, Father decided it was time to dip back into the waters that gave his musical journey life. Here lies the fruit of that labor.
