Felix Leifur is a Reykjavik-based producer whose work spans deep, groove-driven sounds in the electronic realm. He first appeared on Lagaffe Tales in 2015, and in 2016 made waves with RVK Moods as part of Davið og Hjalti, a release that became a standout in Iceland’s electronic scene. He was soon signed to Dirt Crew Recordings, where he released three EPs, which in turn led to two projects on Frits Wentink’s Bobby Donny label. In 2019, he and fellow artist Jónbjörn launched the BROТ series, an ongoing project that already counts six records, each exploring different genres of electronic music, from electro to breakbeat and techno. His 2024 album Slow Down continues his run of thoughtful, groove-driven releases rooted in Reykjavik’s vibrant music culture.
