Born in Croydon, British-Filipino rapper and producer Feng is a frontrunner in the UK’s underground rap scene, playing a crucial role in its now-global status. Feng garnered a cult fan base through early loosies like 'M.I.A' and 'Princess', woozy tour-de-forces in sub-two minute storytelling that touched on emotions far greater than their durations. Breakout mixtape What The Feng continued this traction, a smoky ode to growing up in a city, replete and party-ready beats that demonstrate Feng’s skills as a producer. On self-written, recorded, and produced debut Weekend Rockstar and new EP Summer At Camp Lakepine, which was written and recorded nomadically across LA with BandLab and wired earphones, Feng’s world switched from Croydon to California. Both projects are inspired by Feng's time in America, where he runs a house party series that has helped to revive the culture in cities like LA, Orlando and New York. Feng, and often his parties, have been covered by Dazed, Pitchfork, and British Vogue. The EP was announced with kaleidoscopic lead single 'Fake Friends', which came with a video which Feng creatively directed and edited. The rapper’s strong creative vision, D.I.Y. ethos and ability to capture emotion have set Feng as a bright and distinct standout to his peers, earning co-signs from influences including Kid Cudi, and Skrillex. He’s embarked on sold-out headline tours across America and Europe, and appeared at festivals such as Rolling Loud and Summer Smash.
