Felipe Fenix's solo project highlights alternative rock, having as a principle references from bands that most influenced him in the way of playing the guitar and singing. Bands like Sonic Youth, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, The Cure, A Place To Bury Strangers, Violeta de Outono, Pinups and Second Come are the source of inspiration for the band Fenix e As Cinzas.
With lyrics sung in Portuguese and English, pushed by guitar, bass and drums, they culminate in distorted and spatial mantras that become the sound of a soul in catharsis trying to get out of a nightmare.
