Founded in late 2022, Ffatri Jam are a hard rock band hailing from Caernarfon and Anglesey, North Wales. Named as one of the Best Sounds of 2022 by BBC Introducing in Wales, their music has aired on radio stations worldwide, and their raw, powerful sound has earned acclaim from industry blogs in the USA, Brazil, Spain, India, Portugal, and the UK. Influenced by the intensity of bands like Audioslave, Alter Bridge, and Monster Truck, Ffatri Jam fuses hard rock with Welsh culture and spirit, creating a sound that’s unique and unapologetically bold. As said by Paloma Jazmín from End Sessions, “Ffatri Jam explodes with talent and a bold sound! Soak up adrenaline and intensity with themes and modern rhythms that combine punk, alternative hard rock, and electronic music, presenting you with a proposal that breaks the conventional and transmits pure energy!”
Ffatri Jam made a powerful debut with their EP 'Boddi', which saw three singles aired on BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock. Their second single, ‘Cyrff,’ broke ground as the first Welsh-language track to feature on Planet Rock Radio, while their third single, ‘Geiriau Ffug,’ rose to number 3 on the Primordial Radio Top 40 Charts. Their music has been played at major Welsh sporting venues like the Principality Stadium, Cardiff City Stadium, and Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground. Ffatri Jam continues to break the standards for Welsh rock, blending raw musicianship with a commitment to pushing the boundaries of Welsh-language music.
