Born in Verona, Italy, 1990, the colorfully soulful singer and Fender Rhodes pianist Filippo Perbellini grew up in a family of enthusiastic music lovers. His early exposure to the sounds of Motown vinyls, and various American musical treasures, inspired him to begin his vocal studies at the early age of seven. In 2009, he participated in the 59th annual Festival di Sanremo with Riccardo Cocciante. Soon after, he released his debut album, “Metà & Metà”, as the first Italian artist of Universal Music/Motown. Since 2010, Perbellini has been working in studios between Los Angeles and London with producer and sound engineer, Tommy Vicari. He also collaborated with Rod Temperton, the composer of Michael Jacksons’ “Rock With You” and “Thriller”, as well as George Benson’s “Give Me The Night”. Jeffrey Osborne acts as the personal vocal coach of his new USA-made album. From 2011 to 2017 he was a member of "JazzyFunk" (deep house) project where he performs in various clubs / disco worldwide opening for Paris Hilton, Craig David & many more. Perbellini is actively working on a couple of projects, including the soulful quartet with "Helen Tesfazghi" and "Paolo Sessa". He also performs with his acoustic and soul project, Double Soul with virtuoso guitarist, "Sam Lorenzini". Tiger Cloth a team of neo - soul productions and YellowLight (deep house) project. He also produces and play with her sister "Virginia Perbellini" competitor for X-factor italy 2018.
