Filiz Kaya

She was born in Çanakkale. She started her musical education in Istanbul Technical University Classical Turkish Music State Conservatory and continued her master’s program in the same university. She received his Classical Kemenche education from great master Cuneyd Orhon. She successfully finished her Sufficiency in Art Program in Afyon Kocatepe University on 03.12.2012.
She took place in many significant concerts both in Turkey and foreign countries (South Korea-Seoul, Iraq-Erbil, Germany, Nederland, Nigeria, Malta, Italy, Greece etc., Ending Concert of Ankara Festival with Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Concert of the Story of Three Violin-with Cihat Askın, Sholomo Mintz, Yair Dallal and Erkan Ogur…). In May of 2015, she released and album named Sırnağme(Meaning of Secret Melody) “Meyler Süzülsün”.
Between 2006 and 2016 she worked as a music instructor in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Between 2016 and 2018 she worked as Assis. Prof. Dr. in Düzce University. As for September of 2020, she continues her career along with her music works as an classical kemenche artist.
