Filler is a musical collective formed and based in Yogyakarta. This collective consists of Yogi Surya Adam (Guitars), Yoga Cipto Kristianto (Guitars), Kavca Dio (Bass/Vocals), Hilman (Vocals), and Adwian Prio Darmawan (Drums).
In creating music, they’re inspired by various sounds which emerge from different eras. Starting from the early plantation of punk aesthetic to it’s each harvesting season celebrated by the newer generations. However, Filler doesn't want to be trapped only inside of it’s bubble of musical reference. What they want for the music they create is how it’s still amplifies emotional unity between it’s members and messages they wish to amplify.
Filler have released one maxi-single: Crippled Zone/Drowning Visuals (2021), and one EP: Unconcluded Convergences EP (2023). On 27 May 2023, Unconcluded Convergences Showcase was held at Bage X Kama. Their 2024 single, A Body of Few Words, is their first step towards upcoming debut album.
