In the late '90s, Belgium became a major electronic dance music-producing country with several numbers inspired by electronica, the futuristic vision of techno music. Fiocco ("snowflake" in Italian) debuted in 1997 after producers Jan Vervloet and Enzo Fumarola were joined by singer Ann Loomans and dancer Anja Maesen. Their first hit single, called Affitto, was remixed by German Michael Nehrig, better known as Kosmonova, and released as Celebrate. This brought forth Fiocco's first album titled Free, featuring the club/dance hit "Miss You," with vocals by Medusa. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
