'Fire Is A Time Machine' (abbreviated as FIATM) is a more experimental leaning, side alias of artist/producer David A. Gravagno, better known as 'Shady Monk'. Inspired by prolific acts like Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Burial, Square Pusher, and more, FIATM aims to live in the weirder spaces, crafting tracks with an emphasis on mood, texture, odd samples, and uncommon time signatures/ rhythms/ or chord progressions.
