Formed in the weaning months of 2017, Fiveash were a fresh up and coming band from Sydney Australia. Fusing a love of early 2000s emo bands such as Motion City Soundtrack and Jimmy Eat World with their newer contemporaries such as Real Friends and Knuckle Puck, the band released their debut two-track 'After Everything' in June 2018. The two track was met with critical acclaim, with Don't Bore Us saying "the two tracks conjure up bubbling feelings of nostalgia and suburbia over tasteful instrumentals and sing-a-long choruses", while Depth Magazine says it "seems to be reminder to look to the heart of a connection and get back to that, whether that is with yourself or in friendships".
Armed with an angry and emotional sound yet still with an outlook of positivity, 2019 saw Fiveash release their first and final ep 'Move On For Now', a heraldic title that foresaw the disbanding of the band as it's members moved on with their lives.
As a new decade begins, so too do new beginnings for the former members out of the ashes of Fiveash. For now, enjoy the ep that we painstakingly created for ourselves and for you.
