The Floorbrothers short-circuit cranked-up amps with the bald spontaneity of a snotty kid. The result: Indie Rock that bursts with energy, whose roots lie in the early nineties and are found in bands such as Guided By Voices or Pavement.
In order to capture this spontaneity Floorbrothers songs are recorded immediately after they are written using vintage reel to reel tape recorders and analog recording equipment.
Floorbrothers are Reto Vogler (git. / voc. / bass / drums) and Daniel Nievergelt git. / bass / percussion / piano). Both were founding members of the band Disco Doom. Live Floorbrothers perform with Daniel Hobi on drums and Ronny Hunger on Bass.
The second Floorbrothers album "Floorbrothers Forever" will be released October 21st 2022 (vinyl, cassette, digital).
