I was born in Kumasi, Ghana, to Frafra parents from the north. Growing up, I balanced the traditions of the Frafra and Ashanti cultures. My parents encouraged me to sing, and I joined the church choir, quickly becoming the lead singer. After school, I helped my mother run a street restaurant, but music was always in my heart.

One day, a teacher, impressed by my singing, took me to a recording studio. That session led to my first album, Ho Sanga La Pa’aya (2011), a hit in the Frafra community. My second album, Da Sake (2013), caught the attention of German producer Max Weissenfeldt. We met in Bolgatanga while I was distributing my music. He invited me to join his band for a tour, and I said yes. In 2014, we toured Ghana with a big band, performing wherever we could.

Over the years, I collaborated with Max on several projects like and toured West Africa in 2016 with him. In 2018, I performed in Europe for the first time with Guy One and worked with Finnish artist Jimi Tenor in Berlin. In 2020, I recorded Mam Pe’ela Su’ure, my first international single, in Max’s Kumasi studio.

The song brought me recognition, leading to my first European tour in 2023, where I played at major festivals like Roskilde. A second tour followed the same year. In 2024, my band and I played over 50 concerts across Europe, from Portugal to Sweden. Now, I’m preparing for the release of my full album, excited to see what’s next.
