"Flower City Rollin" was initially introduced by Ihsan as the tagline for his former punk rock band, Girl Fix-er, which eventually disbanded, leaving Ihsan and Okky to venture into forming their new band, The Patinas.
While running The Patinas, Ihsan met Grady, and they discussed their shared passion for music. Unfortunately, they struggled to find the right individuals to join their band until "The Patinas' New Years Terror" a party in the end of 2010. At the event, they finally connected with the other members: Zali on drums, Dudi on brass, Odon on guitar, Dhimas on bass, and, lastly, Papa Migo, who became the band's lead vocalist.
The band members unanimously agreed when Ihsan proposed using his old tagline as the band's name, and "Flower City Rollin'" was born. Their debut performance was at "Unite Zero Nine," and remarkably, their first rehearsal took place just one week before the gig, precisely on February 21st, 2010. From that moment on, the story of their musical journey began to unfold.
