Forelock, pseudonym of Alfredo Puglia, is an Italian reggae singer born in Sassari in 1987. Raised in a family of musicians, he developed a strong passion for music from an early age, studying piano, opera singing, electronic music, and African percussions. In 2008, he became the lead singer of Arawak, a band that led him to emerge as one of the most promising artists in Italian reggae. In 2013, he began collaborating regularly with Paolo Baldini on the DubFiles project, establishing himself internationally.

In 2015, he released “Zero” with Arawak and in 2018 “To The Foundation,” a tribute to Dennis Brown, which consolidated his style between roots reggae and modern sounds. He has shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as Alborosie, Agent Sasco, and Mellow Mood, and has performed throughout Europe, Latin America, and India. In 2023, he released the EP “Follow Me,” experimenting with new urban influences and confirming his stylistic versatility. In 2025, he returned with the single “Missy”: Forelock continues to be one of the most distinctive voices on the Italian reggae scene.
