Guitarist, composer and improviser, is considered one of the most prolific and unconventional musicians of his generation thanks to a poliedrico style and unlimited musical exploration. He is interested in exploring music, investigating rhythmic complexities, taking care of the improvisational gesture, immersing himself in unknown acoustic and electronic sounds, encountering similar humanity.
He is leader of the groups Oliphantre (Martial – Tamborrino), Yellow Squeeds (Lento – Zanisi -Benedetti – Morello) and member of the collectives MAT (Allulli – Baron), Floors (Vignato – Ponticelli), Contemporary quartet Michelangeli - Calderano -Diodati - Guerri, French/Italian/English quartet Bigoni - Diodati - Delbecq - Arguelles and of the large ensemble Majestic Jinks.
He regularly collaborates with Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Julian Pontvianne, Matteo Bortone.
He has played in the most important Festivals, Theaters, and clubs all over the world – Umbria Jazz, SudtirolJazzFestival, Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, Panama Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, Vortex, Smalls, Torrione Jazz Club …
