FRÉ

FRÉ is a new force in the international pop scene. Her music sits at the intersection of pop and indie, influenced by artists like Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Bon Iver – but her sound is anything but conventional. She is an artist who refuses to be confined to a box, both musically and personally. Her music and lyrics speak to the voice of a generation fighting for equal rights, equal opportunities, and a livable planet. In 2021, FRÉ founded the Dutch branch of Music Declares Emergency, an international sustainability movement that includes artists like Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, and Billie Eilish.

She speaks at major conferences and festivals, constantly pushing for a more sustainable future for the music industry. After releasing Atmosfeer, her EP in Dutch, FRÉ returned to writing in English for Willow, set to be released this fall. Together, the two EPs make up her new album Gemini, which will also be available on sustainable vinyl on September 26. Her release concert at Paradiso on September 25 will showcase her new live show, filled with energy, dance, and unforgettable moments. It’s in her live performance that you’ll truly see who she is: an artist unafraid to shine.
