Fred Deakin was half of the band <a href="spotify:artist:5uh8Bhewltd8j0TLZjNImc" data-name="Lemon Jelly">Lemon Jelly</a> who were nominated for Mercury and Brit awards, sold over half a million albums and headlined stages at almost every major UK music festival (Glastonbury, Bestival, Big Chill, Reading, Leeds, T in the Park).
His new science-fiction concept album The Lasters is set in a dystopian future and tells the tale of Earth's final family. It is inspired by the format of Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds and features Abi Sinclair, <a href="spotify:artist:6W7edDAqY2zfgSNYXaK7cX" data-name="Charlotte Hatherley">Charlotte Hatherley</a> and Steffan Huw Davies.
