Freddy Freeman

Freddy Freeman has always been drawn to express himself through music. In his teens he began writing songs and learned to play piano & guitar. His journey has been a study in the meaning of identity, expressing himself first through a blossoming LGBT music scene in NYC in 2001, he took on the role of organizer of various GLBT music events and playing Pride festivals, and was nominated 3 times for Outmusician of the year. In 2002 he created Bearapalooza, a music event for performers who identify as "Bears”, that ran for 10 years. His debut album "Break the Silence" was described as a rich stew of American Popular Music. He then released an album that was a fun-loving tribute to his “Bear” identity called “Just Bear With Me” with songs celebrating body diversity and pride. His discovery of a new spiritual path of truth then led him to create new music with themes of Forgiveness, Love, Spirit, Gratitude and Divinity on the album ”Raise it Up”

Now Freddy is almost ready to release Goldenheart, a pure pop album with themes of personal and spiritual growth. Freddy dips his heartfelt authentic songs into a delicious candy coating of electro pop goodness, with dashes of 80’s and 90’s retro vibes.

The title track – Goldenheart is available now and the full album will follow in April of 2021!
