Dutch born Frederik Hendrik, takes inspiration from his colorful youth growing up in Amsterdam in his tingly, 80’s inspired ‘Extraterrestrial EP’. The whole EP contains a cinematic flavor that oozes nostalgia for your favorite 80’s movies.
Frederik started producing music in 1999 using just a PlayStation and is now a passionate synth enthusiast. Currently based in Essex, this English/Turkish DJ/Producer builds his tracks from memories of growing up in a multicultural and dynamic home. Hendrik’s mum was a big influence and introduced him to a large variety of music.
Hendrik has had support from Folamour on his track ‘1985’ and was featured in his Radio 1 Essential Mix. He has previous releases with Tropical Disco Records, Paradiso and Zone Focus and with Pomme Frite. He has also released with Toolroom under the Alias Remoda.
