Conceived on a mountain in Thailand, Free Yoga Mats is a five-piece rock band formed in Macau in late 2018. A true clash of cultures, with members originating from Portugal, Macau, Singapore and Australia, bound together by their passion to create original music.
Living in, and drawing inspiration from Macau, their music holds a mirror to the hectic nature of the city; fast, chaotic and melodic. Being mostly influenced by punk and alternative rock, their music embodies a free spirited, creative and honest musical snapshot of everyday life.
Each person brings their own musical styling to the mix, which makes the Free Yoga Mats sound quite unique.
