The long-stayers of the Gold Coast melodic punk scene, Friends With The Enemy have hit the ground running in 2023, with the release of their new album 'Divide & Conquer'. Their trade mark fast melodic punk is a homage to the legendary 90's skate punk bands that soundtracked their youth.

Forming back in the summer of 2009, their blistering skate punk is a constant theme throughout all their recordings from their earliest release debut EP 'New world disorder', first full length 2016 release 'Declassified' and their most recent heavier offering in 'Divide & Conquer'. Off the back of this they have been privileged enough to share the stage with some of the world's premier punk bands and their idols, Strung Out, A Wilhelm Scream, No Use For A Name and many more.

Forging great friendships throughout their time playing both locally and overseas Friends With The Enemy are looking to build on their journey with new music and upcoming tours all in the mix for what is quickly building to be their busiest and most exciting year yet. Doing what they do best, playing fast and having fun!
