George Clinton&#39;s nephew Sa&#39;d &#39;The Hourchild&#39; Ali (<a href="spotify:artist:4L3E0EGCNRgLLscbVQmZdJ" data-name="Sa&#39;D Ali">Sa&#39;D Ali</a>) and Chuck ‘Da Fonk’ Fishman met in the mid-’90s as touring members of <a href="spotify:artist:2GVBp7QyHckoOg7rYkLvrA" data-name="George Clinton">George Clinton</a> &amp; Parliament Funkadelic. With the addition of 8-time Grammy-nominated producer <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1EFRkIiIXUETFY" data-name="Written By G Koop">Written By G Koop</a> the trio became FSQ, a production team committed to creating original funk of supreme quality.

In the years to follow, Boston-based guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:4XKzzTOHB6w63Rh2S6p3Re" data-name="Chas Bronz">Chas Bronz</a>, Philadelphia drummer <a href="spotify:artist:1ODTrZXn8dBMdAQUsOUTkr" data-name="One Era">One Era</a>, and New York audio engineer <a href="spotify:artist:7dFh9xopqfQhUia4sMRQfv" data-name="Morgan Wiley">Morgan Wiley</a> joined FSQ.
