DJ and producer Shalvoy (Peter) is a veteran of NYC’s nightlife scene with over 30 years of experience, starting with a legendary residency at Nell’s. His deep musical knowledge and impeccable taste have earned him a loyal following among DJs and industry insiders. Shalvoy has a unique talent for making classic tracks feel fresh and new releases resonate like timeless hits. His dynamic sets, blending disco, classic throwbacks, house, and exclusive re-edits, keep dance floors packed and always include unexpected surprises, as no genre is off-limits.
Throughout his career, Shalvoy has toured as a DJ for prominent acts like The Tom Tom Club and The Soup Dragons, and has headlined the Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas since its inception. He brought his party vibes to Bobby Flay’s “Tacos and Tequila,” making it a standout event at the New York Food & Wine Festival. Shalvoy has also played key roles in corporate events for The Food Network and served as the musical director for Blue Ribbon restaurants for two decades, solidifying their reputation as a top late-night destination.
Currently, Shalvoy holds residencies at On The Record and Mayfair Supper Club in Las Vegas and spins all-vinyl sets at Wax Rabbit and Intrigue. Recently, he has shifted his focus to music production, releasing tracks on esteemed labels such as Midnight Riot, Tropical Disco, Super Spicy, Spa In Disco, and Hot Digits.
