Widely respected by all artists in the genre, Fuego has always been in front of the curve of Latin music. The Dominican-American began his career creating and popularizing his own fusion of Caribbean mambo and U.S. urban sounds, which in 2011 earned him a number-one hit in nine countries, with “Una Vaina Loca.” Over the following years, Fuego polished his unique style, and grew both as a recording artist, and into a prolific songwriter, collaborating with international acts such as J Balvin, Juanes, Anitta, Dillon Francis, Rick Ross, and Pitbull, among many others.
Fuego’s continued evolution and innovative habits led towards the 2016 release of the critically acclaimed album Fireboy Forever II. Regarded by critics and industry tastemakers as a keystone release for what would become the enormous Latin trap genre.
