Born and raised in Morrison Colorado, on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, singer-songwriter Gabe James developed a love for the sounds of the acoustic guitar. Immersed in the timeless echoes of Classic Rock and Folk music, Gabe quickly fell in love with the six string his aunt gifted him from the dollar store, taking it with him on camping trips and everywhere else he went from the age of three and onwards. At the age of 24, he stands on the cusp of releasing his fourth EP, set to grace the music scene in 2025. Since moving out to the vibrant city of Los Angeles six years ago to pursue his musical aspirations, Gabe has cultivated a diverse musical palate, encompassing a wide range of genres spanning from Alternative Rock to Country Folk.
Recently, Gabe reflected on the musical influences that have shaped his sound, citing bands such as Dire Straits, Tom Petty, Sam Fender, The 1975, The War On Drugs, The Bleachers, Steven Wilson Jr., and Colter Wall as key inspirations.
In his next project, James aspires to infuse his influences of classic rock with some more of the contemporary sounds he's been picking up on today. 'I want to tell a story of my life, in and outside of my music through this next project...' , James states, 'and I have a whole lot more to share.'
