After releasing solo albums, berlin based collective Gaddafi Gals is back with their new single BYE BYE. The trio shied away from the raw phonk and memphis inspired sound of their previous full length album TEMPLE (2019), their new release is dominated by shiny synth chords and alluring songwriting . "Pelt you like an orange, it's unfair". Drawing inspiration from 90s RnB and 2000s Pop, the glossy yet trunk rattling song is the ultimate break-up anthem. In the Sander Houtkruijer-directed video, singer slimgirl fat (aka Nalan), rapper Ebow and producer walter p99 arkestra are leaning over the trunk of a car, grinning and waving, and you might think they're still fighting the Papi from their THE DEATH OF PAPI (2017). Let's hope their Bye Bye is for the long run this time.
