On their new album "Dancing Ash," Gallileous takes us on an extraordinary journey through the world of untamed elements: water, air, earth, wood, metal, and fire.
Lyrically, the album is a poetic tale of an inner transformation and the natural human quest for meaning. The metaphors of the six elements serve as tools to explore universal themes such as loneliness, confusion, change, and rebirth. "Dancing Ash" gives strength and is a hymn of courage, perseverance, and hope, inspired by constant change and growth.
The musical layer of the album provides multifaceted, epic compositions based on the band's signature sound of powerful, driving guitars, and a unique female vocal. The rhythm section, like a stable foundation, keeps everything in check, while the keyboards colorfully fill the gaps and backgrounds. The band successfully merges diverse musical influences, creating a unique sound that is fresh and deeply rooted in tradition.
The album was recorded with a new lineup, including the existing members: Anna Pawlus (vocals), Tomasz Stoński (guitar), and Michał Szendzielorz (drums), along with new members Marek Świecki (bass) and Marcin Zwierżdżyński (keyboards).
The album comes with the "Elemental Course" puzzle, which allows listeners to explore the lyrics of each track and create a cycle of the six elements.
The album, published by Prog Metal Rock Promotion, was released on 13 September 2024.
