When asked to describe his self East Atlanta Native artist Gaten simply states he’s “Da One”. With a boastful and charismatic flow Gaten’s music takes you on a journey inside his life growing up in one of Atlanta’s roughest neighborhoods of Bouldercrest. Young and focused, Gaten started his music career in 2011 and since then his lyrical growth is undeniable. Equipped with a flow that melts into every pocket of the beat you’ll find yourself singing along your first time listening to his songs.Gaten is no stranger to the stage and performs all over the country. He has shared the stage and booth with artists such as the late great Bankroll Fresh, Lil’ Keed, No Plug, Young Dro, and Young Ralph just to name a few. Gaten’s connections in the industry include producers, Will-A-Fool, Fresh Jones, Zaytoven, Archie On The Beat, and Antoinio Reid Jr. He has been stamped by some of Hip Hop greats like T.I, Clay Evans, Bigga Rankin, and Big Facts host Big Bank DTE. Gaten’s hard work was recognized by XXL magazine which earned him a feature spread in the “The Freshman Edition 2016”.
