Getto Boy (GB) born Eduardo Nepomuceno-Vega is a Mexican-American recording artist from Merced, California. Growing up with limited resources and support, GB was shaped by his environment and the realities of the streets, eventually becoming entangled in the school-to-prison pipeline by his early teenage years. He had faced juvenile probation, adult parole, and 2 terms within the California Department of Corrections by 23
During periods of incarceration, house arrest, and isolation, GB discovered his passion for music. Influenced by everything from 90’s Spanish classics and 90’s Hip-Hop and R&B. West Coast icons like N.W.A., Death Row, and Woodie, along with East Coast legends such as Nas, Biggie, and Wu-Tang Clan, his sound reflects raw authenticity and lived experience.
He began recording seriously in 2018 when he released “1 Way In 2 Ways Out”, to multiple projects like “186.22” and his 2021 album Getto Boy, which included heartfelt records like “Letter to CB” and West Coast inspired tracks such as “No Love” and “No Favors.”
Now a father, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, GB is committed to inspiring his community the next generation. His long-awaited album “Merced” is set for release in early 2026, marking the next chapter in his journey and sound.
