Oluwabusuyi Gbenga David, popularly known as GDAVE, is an Afro-rap artist making a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry. Born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo State, GDAVE's musical journey began in 2018, and he has since released several hit singles.
With a musical training experience from the Jeolaz Music Academy in Lagos in 2022, GDAVE's sound is heavily influenced by the likes of Olamide Baddo, with his lyrics focusing on life in general and inspiring his listeners.
GDAVE has released several works, including Wake Up in 2019, Hosanna in 2019, Ole Remix in 2020 and Back with Dreams (BWD) in 2023. His recent single, BWD has been receiving massive airplay across various radio stations in the country and outside the country. He has also covered several songs and continues to work on more singles and collaborations, and of recent lasko blark featured him in his new song titled MAZZAZUKA.
GDAVE's talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed, as he was among the Top 20 contestants for the Headies Mic Check in 2022 and recently won the OAU Next Rated Artist in 2023.
Despite his rise to fame, GDAVE remains grounded, and his favorite quote "Wetin go be go be" reflects his outlook on life.
