In the summer of 1991, Claus Pieper and Oliver Kuntzer decided to put their own musical ideas . Until then they had both been working as DJs. Immediately after their first session, they joined forces with Ingo Kays and founded Genlog. They began to pool their ideas and produce sounds that were really worth listening to and, above all, danceable. Their very first release, the "Mockmoon EP", brought an immediate breakthrough in the music world. brought them an immediate breakthrough in the national and international techno house scene. It earned them their first invitation to the biggest house techno party of the time, Mayday. In the meantime, Genlog had shrunk back to its original size and consisted of partners Claus and Oli again. Their live performance was a sensation - the 30,000 ravers went completely crazy. From then on, the two toured the European rave scene non-stop.
