Geoff Palmer

Geoffrey Palmer (born January 17) is an American musician and songwriter from Rochester, New Hampshire now living in Madison, WI. Best known as a founding member and songwriter for the veteran garage rock/power pop band <a href="spotify:artist:4pRa44AXZCKd6am3FLCRaA" data-name="The Connection">The Connection</a>.


The Connection formed in 2010 by <a href="spotify:artist:5aa41T1Vq8B4YM8jjeL6Vu" data-name="Geoff Palmer">Geoff Palmer</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:7r7EhRqHAY6ztH25clqAQF" data-name="Brad Marino">Brad Marino</a>.
In the Connection, Palmer as one half of the Marino/Palmer songwriting team captured the attention of <a href="spotify:artist:4Pmlf0hZYXcoDSuaNrw23E" data-name="Little Steven">Little Steven</a> Van Zandt, E Street Band member, and creator of the popular Sirius XM Radio Station, Little Steven&#39;s Underground Garage. Van Zandt has named many Connection songs (co-written by Palmer) as &#34;Coolest Song in the World,” on The Underground Garage.


Palmer, <a href="spotify:artist:7r7EhRqHAY6ztH25clqAQF" data-name="Brad Marino">Brad Marino</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0uU8svZg44F2Y6pxOMlABT" data-name="Kurt Baker">Kurt Baker</a> and, <a href="spotify:artist:5wqkNW4w0UQE0fTlgVk2To" data-name="Kris Rodgers">Kris Rodgers</a> formed a side project called <a href="spotify:artist:3Q5IwXP83JVL4rvK9A3CbG" data-name="The New Trocaderos">The New Trocaderos</a>.


As a teenager, Palmer played bass for the punk band <a href="spotify:artist:1kRABJWDxSnOJFteI351V6" data-name="The Queers">The Queers</a>. He played on the 1998 Hopeless Records release&#39;s Everything&#39;s OK and Punk Rock Confidential. Palmer played bass on the <a href="spotify:artist:0KgVcJrWyq7qVzm7lWp0tm" data-name="Drunken Cholos">Drunken Cholos</a> &#39;Livin&#39; La Vida Loco&#39; with the original Queers line-up (Joe, Tulu, and Wimpy).


Palmer played guitar for The <a href="spotify:artist:5dMXPZsWFs411zjl9TueAr" data-name="Nobodys">Nobodys</a>. Geoff and J.J. Nobody wrote &amp; produced the Hopeless Records release <a href="spotify:artist:1gHiHqgyInACyXZUWqaNQW" data-name="JJ Nobody And The Regulars">JJ Nobody And The Regulars</a>. The Palmer penned &#39;Do it all again&#34; was later recorded for the 2017 Nobody&#39;s album.


Palmer formed <a href="spotify:artist:1niWgtaw8yFTKGoWidXUta" data-name="The Guts">The Guts</a>.
Palmer, with bassist Nate Doyle and drummer Rick Orcutt, recorded the classic &#39;Let It Go&#39; (produced by <a href="spotify:artist:0fh5OOocWI28CshnHH2UgI" data-name="Ben Weasel">Ben Weasel</a>)
