The first album, Jump, Jive, and Fail (2019), was recorded with basically no knowledge of recording at all. In 2020, Throw Me in the Trash and Cutting Corners came out just days apart, followed by Lookout! Pavid Vermin Ruins Some Songs, a loose, for-fun set of covers inspired by bands from Lookout! Records during COVID.
The fifth album, Brutality Is My Only Friend (2024), took a turn. A punk kid’s version of a Motown record, with strings, orchestral parts, and long, sometimes nonsensical death metal-style song titles.
In 2025, The Life of a Showgirl brought things back to fast, stripped-down punk. It was written and recorded in a single day and, by coincidence, ended up sharing the exact same title and tracklist as an upcoming album by Taylor Swift three weeks before hers was announced.
