Seattle-based Christian roots rock act Ghost Ship were formed in 2008 by Georgia native Cam Huxford. With their dense, acoustic-based sound and folk-pop aesthetic, the seven-piece group quickly became worship leaders at Seattle's large Mars Hill Church. In 2011, they released their debut four-song EP, A River With No End, on the church's in-house label Mars Hills Music. A full-length ten-song concert album called Ghost Ship Live appeared shortly afterward. In 2013, the group signed with Tooth and Nail and BEC Recordings to release their first studio LP, The Good King. The album was well received critically, and rose into the Top 30 on Billboard's Christian and Heatseeker charts. ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
