Ghostwriters are an energetic four-piece from Bingley, West Yorkshire who have combined their individual styles to create a hard, melodic rock sound with UK style rap influences.
Initially a 3-piece, the band ran into early trouble when original bassist (name omitted for legal reasons) bought the rights to the original name 'hiretheghostwriter' and swam to France or something. Bassline DJ Matt 'Pik' Pickles and former Fire on Ice drummer Danny Brickles brought in Ben Charlwood on guitar and local music prodigy James Brickles (Start The Virago, <a href="spotify:artist:5Jrx7jtjiSPI8FAsjfqy3l" data-name="Echoviolet">Echoviolet</a>) on bass.
The High Life EP was released in April 2020 and showcases the band's unique sound.
