Ginoli is the electronic/dance project of Perth-based producer, musician & <a href="spotify:artist:4skJp5OKvcc9eKokiuhi2s" data-name="Pond">Pond</a> drummer James Ireland.
A stalwart of the strong and vibrant Perth underground dance music community, his debut Untitled EP was released in 2018 via Good Company Records. Backed by the premieres of ‘Wild Hall’ on Resident Advisor and the eponymous title track on Stamp The Wax, the EP showcased his unique approach to production incorporating elements from influences such as Detroit house, garage, hip hop, jazz & more.
Ginoli has since worked on a number of releases for labels such as R&S Records, Plastic World & GOOD Music among others including remixes with fellow Pond member Jay Watson (GUM) for artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:5agXR9PXcQ3whCRLu8LeeN" data-name="Paul White">Paul White</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:75dQReiBOHN37fQgWQrIAJ" data-name="Local Natives">Local Natives</a> and various production for artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6JcD2YKEhgimweLpUI0NEw" data-name="KUČKA">KUČKA</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:5K4W6rqBFWDnAN6FQUkS6x" data-name="Kanye West">Kanye West</a> among others.
The second single from the upcoming Music in Exile REMIXED EP sees Ireland team up with <a href="spotify:artist:0fXNL948r9cbGsA6ZSwg6L" data-name="Nicholas Allbrook">Nicholas Allbrook</a> for a synth laden cover of Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King’s disco hit, 'I’m in Love'. This single features on the upcoming 12" alongside other tracks including Mal Mi Goa (Ginoli Remix) where danceable, swelling synths sit alongside legendary South Sudanese pop star <a href="spotify:artist:4LsJGFIGPI5c0sOeKFtjQ1" data-name="Gordon Koang">Gordon Koang</a>.
