Giovanni Rahmadeva was born on November 17, 1989 in Jakarta, Indonesia. He completed his bachelor degree in business and since then he started to focus on music (drumming for The Marsh Kids to Polka Wars).
Now he’s currently active as producer & songwriter with Dennis Ferdinand (Manny Rune) in DvD Music Production and has worked with artists such as Mirabeth, Perunggu & Esther Geraldine.
He is still active as a drummer-songwriter for his band Polka Wars; a 3 piece alternative suit hailing from South Jakarta.
Incarnated in late 2011, the band have been nominated and also won on numerous platforms over the years.
The song “Rangkum" which was written by Giovanni Rahmadeva was deemed as the best song of 2017 by Rolling Stone Indonesia and arguably deemed as a “hit” in the Indonesian indie scene.
Beside music, he is also active as movie producer. So don’t you wonder if his solo music and all music videos that he has been handled throughout the years are cinematic & often exceptional.
