Puti Chitara, a singer-songwriter based in Jakarta was born and raised in a musical environment, started learning to play the piano since 5 years old and then pursue her study in Japan where her dream to be a musician who can give inspirations and save other people souls just as how she was saved by listening to her favorite musicians such as <a href="spotify:artist:7lbSsjYACZHn1MSDXPxNF2" data-name="Hikaru Utada">Hikaru Utada</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:00FQb4jTyendYWaN8pK0wa" data-name="Lana Del Rey">Lana Del Rey</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4zT3gUH3Xb50swQKT4E9vw" data-name="Maaya Sakamoto">Maaya Sakamoto</a> and many more, was born.
Puti Chitara is also a member of an Indonesian rock alternative band, <a href="spotify:artist:5RbI1PF4n02wWKmgjk7hAE" data-name="Barasuara">Barasuara</a> as one of the main vocalist since 2014.
Puti Chitara has released two albums, 'Sarsaparilla Dream' (2014) and 'Goodnight' (2016) and started writing songs in Bahasa Indonesia, 'Gelembung Kaca' featuring Cholil of <a href="spotify:artist:3uSvD31crYEsBLuiAFD02b" data-name="Efek Rumah Kaca">Efek Rumah Kaca</a>, 'Ruang Baja', 'Sunyi' which was the OST for horror movie with the same title and 'Pendar'.
By the end of 2020, Puti Chitara also released an EP with songs from her unused demos, 'Reminisce'.
She currently working on her 3rd Album which will soon be released.
