Glitter Etiquette is a beautiful thing of modern noisepop that envelops us in a stridency so radical and romantic that it will subdue your eardrums in the same way that it will conquer your heart.
In their first EP, Silicone Bodies, these American boys are showing us feats of greatness, sharpening a fang that they could twist between ever-increasing distortions, emulating the most grotesquely beautiful echoes of My Bloody Valentine, All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors or Air Formation, to name a few select names from this scene.
This band draws from the nineties but they don't sound like they're from that era. This is great. They sound like what they should sound like: a fresh, new project with eyes fixed on their shoes, yes, but also towards the horizon. These guys could represent one of the coolest and most vital new breaths that shoegaze will have these days.
