A collaboration between keyboardist <a href="spotify:artist:1ydw5TMqZC6HCz5l9z3xvL">Jason Miles</a> and turntablist <a href="spotify:artist:75GlHUh2Mr5IthCCRptIQV">DJ Logic</a>, Global Noize make funky, dance-oriented music that mixes world fusion and jazz. They released their debut self-titled album on Shanachie in 2008. Three years later, Global Noize returned with A Prayer for the Planet. In 2013, Global Noize released Sly Reimagined: The Music of Sly and the Family Stone. An homage to funk legend <a href="spotify:artist:66XuLc224VwkhDVuPMZL9c">Sly Stone</a>, the album featured appearances from vocalists <a href="spotify:artist:3jk7OJ4HfTtHvmwh0DkAl1">Falu</a> and Nona Hendrix, as well as trumpeter <a href="spotify:artist:0dA4PhxQgs0e6BzPnxmOo6">Ingrid Jensen</a>, saxophonist <a href="spotify:artist:5TjLQwIm1OQAi6HmD6QQ9c">Jay Rodriguez</a>, and others. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
